Unable to download attachment pdf mac

I am having similar problems on my iPhone 6. In my situation multi-page. I did not have any of the offending third-party apps listed in the posts to delete, but had some other well-respected apps Evernote, WebEx, etc. I deleted those apps, but no relief. If you have issues with people helping others out then leave. People need to edit a PDF, this is a option if they choose to use it. FWIW, I used to use Onyx occasionally note the emphasis is on "used to" ; today's Mac OS is becoming a walled garden with a lot of security features built in and no access to system files, so that type of app has run its course in my humble opinion. If so, have you noticed if the issue affects attachments from all accounts, or just one? Does it help if you Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? How about if you test on both a cellular connection, and Wi-Fi?
